SPORTS DAY 2022

 

The Annual Athletic Meet was conducted in Vivekanada Kendra Vidyalaya on 17

th December 2022. 

The event started with the arrival of the Chief Guest,

Zonal Officer, Shri. Jacob Kutty at 8:00 am.

The students of all classes participated in sports with great enthusiasm. Before the event started the Headmaster 

Shri. R. Venu Rao had welcomed the chief guest and then the chief guest started the event with an inaugural address by encouraging and appreciating the students. 

The Secretary of the VKV of Andaman and Nicobar Islands also attended the annual sports day which had developed the self-confidence of the little angels. 

All the teaching staff and non teaching Staffs worked hard to make the event a great success.

The students were given medals and prizes by the dignitaries for their great efforts. 

The event was closed at 1:00 PM with an inspirational speech by Shri. ER. Vinod Kumar Sharma, Executive Engineer. And then, all the guests, parents and students had a community lunch. 

The annual athletic meet 2022-23 was made a grand success with the hard work and cooperation of all the guests, parents, students and teachers.

EXHIBITION 2022

 

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Hutbay organized Arts and Science exhibition on 19th November 2022. Shri Jacob Kutty, Zonal Officer was the chief guest for opening the exhibit. The exhibition started at 8:30 AM. The students from different classes displayed various models Made by them. The students had shown how creative they are and the future of India is bright!

The models were displayed in three rooms that were arranged in the respective sections that are Arts-Crafts, Maths and science. The students who had displayed the models gave excellent explanation when they were asked questions about the models by the chief guest and other dignitaries. Shri Vinod Kumar Sharma, Executive Engineer, ALHW Hutbay, Closed the exhibition and distributed prizes to the best exhibits.

BEE Painting Competition 2022

A school level painting competition on energy conservation was held at VIVEKANADA KENDRA VIDYALAYA Hutbay, Little Andaman.  

On 17th October 2022 in which the students from class 5 to class 8 participated. The students were guided by Biplab Sir and Aiswariya Madam during painting competition session. The primary aim of this competition was to nurture the creativity and talent of the students to promote their artistic mind. The competition started at 10:00 o’clock in the morning and ended at 12:00 o’clock at the noon between this time the students revealed their creativity and talent through painting to aware the world about the importance of energy conservation for a sustainable development.

Gandhi Jayanti 2022

 

VKV Hutbay celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with great zeal and enthusiasm on 2nd October, 2022. All teachers reported at school at 6:15 a.m. and students assembled in the school playground at 6:30 a.m. The day began with a rally from the school to the police station at 6:45 a.m. in which all the teachers and the students from class 1 to class 8 participated.

All the teachers and students proceeded to the stage where Gandhi Jayanti was to be celebrated. First of all headmaster and the teachers worshiped our father of nation Mahatma Gandhi. And then, the teachers and the students presented dance performances, sang patriotic songs, and delivered invaluable speeches one by one on Gandhi Jayanti and Swach Bharat.

The teachers also sang the ramdhun. At the end, the headmaster delivered a motivational speech which touched everyone’s heart.After this, the Swach Bharat Abhiyan was done in the school premises and outside the school for half an hour by both teachers and students.

VKV HUTBAY

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya is situated at Nanjappa Nagar, Hutbay, Little Andaman. VKV is an academic wing of Vivekananda Kendra (an organization based on Swami Vivekananda's preaching of life). Vidyalaya is a sanskrit word which means school. The corporate headquarter of the organisation is at Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu.

The ideology of Gyan-Yagna, meaning Knowledge Workship, started by Eknathji Ranade led to the inception of VKV. The school teachings are inspired by the Vivekananda's philosophy of Man-Making & Nation Building.
