Our School
Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya is situated at Nanjappa Nagar, Hutbay Little Andaman.
VKV is an academic wing of Vivekananda Kendra (an organization based on
Swami Vivekananda's preaching of life). Vidyalaya is a sanskrit word
which means school. The corporate headquaters of the organisation is at
Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu.
The ideology of Gyan-Yagna, menaing Knowledge Workship, started by Eknathji Ranade led to the inception of VKV. The school techings are inspired by the Vivekananda's philosphy of Man-Making & Nation Building.
