The 162nd Swami
Vivekananda Jayanti / National Youth Day 2025 was celebrated withgreat enthusiasm and fervor at our vidyalaya on January 12, 2025 at 5.00
pm. The Chief Guest was Shri Prabhash Roy, Zonal Officer and Principal, GMSSS, Hut Bay and the Guest of Honour was Smti. Bandana Chakrabarty, Executive Engineer, MID, APWD, Hut Bay, Little Andaman.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of
the lamp by the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour. This was followed by the
prize distribution ceremony for the Inter-house competitions held in connection
with Swamiji's Jayanti. The "Balsabha Champion House Trophy of the
year 2024-25" was awarded to "Charaka House"
(Green House) for their exceptional performances throughout the year
in various Inter-house individual competitions, Display Board and Assembly activities.
The students of Balvatika I to Class VIII presented a vibrant cultural programme, featuring devotional and patriotic dances, Swamiji’s and patriotic group songs and a skit based on "Instances from Swami Vivekananda's life. Programme was concluded at 7.30 pm.
