18th Annual Athletic Meet 2024-25
On Saturday, the 7th December 2024, the 18th Annual Athletic Meet was organised in our Vidyalaya and for the Opening ceremony (8.30 am) and the Chief Guest was Shri. Ajoy Mandal, Tehsildar, Little Andaman and the Guest of Honour was Shri G. Mohan Rao, SHO, PS Hut Bay and for the Closing ceremony (11.30 am) Shri S. Parmanathan, Pramukh, Panchayat Samiti, Little Andaman was the Chief Guest and Shri. Bidyut Roy, Pradhan, Netaji nagar, Hutbay was the Guest of Honour. We had Sus. Varsha Bujone Didi, Secretary, VKVs, Andaman & Nicobar Islands as our Special Guest.
This year, we included every student (from Balvatika 1 to VIII) in one or the other event to make 100% involvement from student side and all the winners of events were presented with medals and certificates through our dignitaries. In both the Inter-House March Past competition and Overall Champion title trophy were bagged by the Chanakya House (Red House). Chief Guests have given away the Champion trophy to House Incharges, Captain, Vice Captains and members of the Red House.
Along with our Guests, hundreds of parents, well wishers and public gathered to witness the programme from start to end.
The programme concluded with national anthem at 12.35 pm.
